Our usual pattern for Sunday mornings is that the children and young people stay in the first part of the church service for some worship songs, prayer and a children's talk. They then leave to go to age-appropriate groups with their leaders whilst the adults stay in for the sermon. Approximately every 4-6 weeks we have an All Age Service where everyone stays in together.
The children/youth groups are as follows:
Crèche ( Crèche room, next to the church hall)For babies and pre-school children (aged 0-4)
For primary school aged children in Reception up to school year 2
For primary school aged children in school year 3 to year 5
For secondary school aged young people in school year 6 to year 8
For teenagers, school year 9 to year 11 meets 3 times a month.
For older teenagers, school year 12 to year 13 meets once a month.
We take safeguarding very seriously and all of our children/youth leaders and helpers have had an enhanced DBS check. Please ensure that children left in Crèche and Good News Club are collected promptly by a responsible adult once the service has finished to allow the leaders to clear up and join everyone for the after service refreshments.
